Trade of spices and incense through valleys
riding sand tracks and crossing the steps
a collection of dialects and races
mixing people through old times and places
In the deserts and lands of kingdoms
marching travellers proceeding with wisdom
men have left here their traces for years
that the wind and the sand dry like tears

Clear and pure the water pours
the rocks without a name and age
don’t spawn, don’t live, don’t eat, don’t die
the river grooves the time and flows ahead
Sitting on the bank I put my legs into the river
till the blue and icy water hits my muscles and my skin is getting
white and hard like marble a caress which I now feel deep in my bones
Now the time is flowing along with water
we the dust and sand blowing away
Waves and wind increasing on the river
are announcing the arrival
of a threatening storm
the darkness now is falling over me

Now an immense abyss slowly surrounds me
clouds and growing shadows over my head

On the route through the waves
moon light is falling through sky and sea
Wind is pushing the sailing boat
blowin’ up the sail, moving the keel
The corricle is sliding asleep
on the deep darkness of sea
lost in the immensity
There come from so far
huge threatening clouds
shaking the sea and my life
like a small baby in the wild
Night’s changing its light
half dark and half bright
moving through the clouds
the wind’s getting so loud
lightning far away
a clear sky on the way
Now I can see the lighthouse
searing the dark with light beams
light will guide us by flashing
right to the coast till we’ll be landing
The foaming wake is tracking the way
turning to silver and white
a long breath is coming so light

rock the sailors when they sail

the water is flat, the night is so silent
In the harbour the sky is clear
billions of stars about to appear
There on the dock a worried wife prays
inspecting the sea and the sky
tears take a long time to dry

The wall in front of me, in an empty room of bricks
has a thin and frozen gloom that makes the light so weak
I move my arms ahead, while walking in half-night
suddenly my mind is flying to the roof so high
The sun is rising through the window, now the scene is clear
silver rays are coming inside, I’m falling in a dream
In a quiet magic room the world can’t be the same
I try to chase that tiny point and start to walk again
Now my body’s carrying me out of my control
I’m about to scream and shout, I feel I’m gonna roll
