Aerostation is a concept album about exploration: the exploration of humans, the exploration of space and time, the exploration of the way the individuals communicate and contact each others. Musically speaking, the album has a rock, modern and cosmopolitan taste, with powerful and suggestive nuances. The album songs have catchy melodies and refrains which are alternated with intimate moments and atmospheres where music becomes more evanescent and rarefied. The sound of Aerostation is original and is the result of a hard work of sound design and production that allowed the band to become a trio without guitar, a power trio with a typical sound made of liquid pads, acid and distorted synthesizers, digital effects and virtual guitars.

Aerostation è un concept sull'esplorazione umana, intesa sia nel senso di avventura e scoperta dello spazio e del tempo, sia nel senso di quella interiore e tra le persone, con particolare riferimento alla comunicazione ed ai contatti interpersonali. Musicalmente il disco ha un carattere tipicamente rock, internazionale e cosmopolita, moderno e potente, suggestivo ed evocativo, che si presta a descrivere immagini e visioni. Le canzoni presentano melodie d'impatto e ritornelli orecchiabili, alternati a momenti d'atmosfera in cui la musica si fa più evanescente e rarefatta, per poi ritornare ad essere prepotentemente energica ed incalzante. Il sound di Aerostation è molto personale, frutto di un lungo lavoro di ricerca e produzione che ha portato al risultato di creare in un trio senza chitarra, un power trio dove quasi non ci si accorge dell'assenza della chitarra stessa, i cui spazi sono presi da un impasto sonoro fatto di sintetizzatori liquidi, acidi e distorti, effetti digitali, chitarre virtuali.
